Think you’re the first one to drink away your college years and neglect your studies? Think again, Paris has been a university town since 1160 and ever since then there have been students ignoring their responsibilities. Peter Abelard was the original bad-boy academic. Despite being a brilliant teacher for the church, he was never very obedient. The poor bastard got caught sleeping with the bishop’s niece and was castrated as punishment! That's why I named this 1 hour walk around the Latin Quarter for him: He was a great example of what I strive to be: Booksmart, but not very wise... This is a tour of the old center of university, filled with medieval architecture and hopping student bars with great deals on drinks.
Start at the Fountain St. Michel.... Take a look it's quite a wonderful fountain, constructed in blah blah blah by blah blah blah.....XXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
